Microtubes Accessories
Microtube accessories to aid sample identification, microtube handling and sample disruption are detailed in this section. They include tube labels and labelling tape that facilitate microtube identification. The microtube labels are available in various sizes on rolls or on sheets for laser printing and there are sample labels for various applications such as cryolabels for sample freezer storage. Lab marker pens make it easier to write on both microtubes and laboratory labels whilst a microtube holder makes microtube handling easier. Teflon pestles are also available. These disruption pestles fit inside microtubes and enable the user to grind up their samples. |
