Blotters Blotters and blotting equipment can be split into protein blotting or DNA and RNA blotting. For protein samples, we offer semi dry blotters and tank blot apparatus to facilitate western blotting. Both the fastblot and the tankblot offer effective means of protein transfer from polyacrylamide gels onto nitrocellulose or other carrier membranes. Vacu blot systems increase the speed of DNA and RNA transfer from gels onto membranes compared to traditional capillary blotting therefore southern blotting and Northern blotting times can be greatly reduced. Dot blot and slot blot</b>>!! systems are also available for blotting of both protein and DNA or RNA samples in free solution onto support membranes.
