Unlike chemical or temporal temperature gradients the
separation parameters can be controlled with high precision
in the Biometra TGGE System. Thus, reproducible experimental
conditions ensure reliable results.
Biometra has more than 10 years experience in mastering
Peltier technology. This knowledge is the basis for the
development of a high precision temperature gradient block
for the TGGE System.
rapid optimization and analysis
The TGGE System was designed for optimum resolution in a small
gel. The highly integrated system consists of a controller and
a gradient electro-phoresis unit. Both optimization of temperature
range and parallel analysis of samples can be achieved in a
very short time. Thus, new protocols can be rapidly established
and a high serial throughput can be achieved.
