Dear {{Salutation}},

The ibidi Angiogenesis µ-slide

Introducing a µ-slide for cell microscopy on or in 3D gel matrices, providing a flat gel surface with a minimum of gel use.  The µ-Slide Angiogenesis was primarily developed to simplify the tube formation assay of endothelial cells on MatrigelTM.*

The "well in a well" design avoids meniscus formation.  Applications include angiogenesis studies, tube formation assays and sprouting asays.

  • 15 wells with numbers and letters
  • Inner well requires only 10 µl gel matrix*
  • Homogeneous 0.8mm thick gel layer
  • Flat gel surface means all cells in one optical plane
  • Upper well for 50 µl medium
  • Compatible with multichannel pipettes
  • Excellent optical properties for microscopy
  • Compatible with staining and fixation
  • Biocompatible plastic material - no glue, no leaking
  • For various types of gels (MatrigelTM, collagen, agarose)**

*Saves 90% gel per assay. In case of BD MatrigelTM the costs are reduced from approx. £3 to 30p per well/assay.
**Please note that the gel is not preloaded into the µ-Slide Angiogenesis.
