Molded in 99.9% medical grade polypropylene, NOVASBIO Pipette Tips provide exceptional performance when pipetting microlitre volumes.
Thanks to their thin-wall design, these tips create a perfect seal to the pipette. and excellent compatibility with most popular brands of pipettors. The thin wall also allows the tips to adapt to the size of the pipette, giving the tips almost universal compatibility.
For researchers working with valuable samples or reagents, the NOVASBIO Low Retention resin process, provides superior sample recovery while increasing accuracy and reproducibility.
Features of NOVASBIO Pipette Tips
Available in standard or low retention
NOVASBIO’s low retention manufacturing process results in an ultra-hydrophobic surface, preventing liquid adhering to the surface and so ensuring maximum sample transfer. This low retention process is implemented pre-production and does not involve surface coatings that could lead to sample contamination.
High quality aerosol filter
The filter on NOVASBIO filter tips features a consistent 20 micron porosity, allowing air flow but not aqueous solutions, protecting samples and pipettes from contamination. This inert Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) filter is placed well abouve the rated volume level to reduce the change of cross contamination.
Sterilised by gamma irradiation
NOVASBIO pipette tips are available pre-sterilised by gamma irradiation. Pre-sterilised tips are supplied in individually wrapped racks, meaning you can open a single pack without worrying about contamination of the remaining racks.
