FACSCOPE B

An automatic cell counter based on a bright-field microscope. FACSCOPE B performs cell counting with a simple touch when staining samples with trypan blue.

Larger counting volume outperforms competitor machines in counting accuracy and results. In "Precise" mode, the counting volume exceeds most other automated cell counters, leading to a more accurate cell count.

Flexible

FACSCOPE B provides three selectable counting modes. Each option has a clear purpose and depending on the purpose of the experiment or sample, it improves increase accuracy if used correctly.

• Quick – Approximate number of cells, Total number of cells quickly.
• Normal – General concentration and size, Default counting mode.
• Precise – Low cell density, most accurate count.

Consistent

FACSCOPE B automatically focuses on the grid of the slide. It is a unique technique not seen in other cell counters, and improves accuracy due to always detecting a constant plane of focus.

Convenient

Users can create their own preset parameter settings to ensure accuracy for specific cell types or experiments. Settings are stored for simple recall, improving efficiency.

Advanced detection algorithm

A Proprietary detection algorithm allows detection of even difficult to observe cells.. In particular, aggregated cells are difficult even with automatic counting. This advanced algorithm clearly analyses the outline of aggregated cells to give you accurate counting results even in irregular cell types.
